Rostec gets 2 bln rbl loan for mass GTD-110M turbines production

MOSCOW, Jan 14 (PRIME) -- UEC-Saturn, a unit of Russian state industrial corporation Rostec’s subsidiary United Engine Corporation (UEC), has obtained a 2 billion ruble loan from an industry development fund for setting up the country’s first mass production of large-capacity gas turbines GTD-110M, Rostec said in a statement on Thursday.

The loan’s interest is 1% annually, the company said.

The first stage of UEC-Saturn’s turbine project encompasses re-equipment of existing facilities to set up production of component parts of the turbine, which would allow it to produce up to two GTD-110Ms per year starting from 2023. During the second stage, the company will build a new machine assembly shop to build four turbines per year starting from 2025.

The Russian market exceeds 50 billion rubles or 30 turbines until 2030, Rostec said.

Capacity of the GTD-110M turbine amounted to 90–130 megawatts, and UEC-Saturn will produce them in the Yaroslavl Region.
